Blister pack is pre-formed plastic blister and a printed paperboard card which has a heat-seal coating. This is commonly used as unit-dose packaging of pharmaceutical products in tablet or capsule forms.

Blister packs can provide more protection and preserve the life requirements of medicines and a protection from tampering .

Blister packs are of a form-fill-seal process which is created from rolls of flat sheet or film, filled with pharmaceutical product and sealed on the same equipment called blisterline.

The packing method is composed of two components and two types of forming a cavity into a base web set is called: thermoforming and cold forming.

Avoid tearing the blister packaging by hand because the plastic is often sharp and is often quite sharp.
