InnoGen Launches Free Blood Sugar Screening Drive

Dr. Zen Research, Incorporated, under the Innogen Pharma Group, is launching a free diabetes screening campaign on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center.

The activity, with slogan, “Diabetes - Screening Awareness for Value and Vitality” (D-SAVV, pronounced as The Save), is scheduled at seven to eleven in the morning, to check on blood sugar for free on Diabetes Clubs and Out-Patient Department. Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center is located near the President Quirino LRT station in Manila.

Aside from blood glucose screening, the campaign will also involve BP monitoring, temperature reading, ECG monitoring, cholesterol testing as well as oxygen saturation reading.

Similar humanitarian medical drive is also set on February 15th at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center in Mandaluyong City. Last January 23 and 24, a successful free glucose screening was held at the Qurino Memorial Medical Center in Porject 4, Quezon City.

Also involved in the campaign are Solvang Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Aldril Pharma, Inc. Vamsler Philippines, Inc. and Vitalink Health Products, Inc., Their products are manufactured by Lloyd Laboratories.
