This was the surprised impression last Friday, March 16, 2007, of Dr. Marietta S. Sapaula, President of the Capital City Wide, an organization of doctors from 16 hospitals in Metro Manila, during a visit to the InnoGen’s hospitality suite at EDSA Shangrila Plaza, Ortigas Center Pasig City, on the first day of the 23^rd International Congress attended by some 800 doctors from around the world.

The delegates to the two-day convention discussed subjects under the theme:“Fetus as a Patient.” Similar observations were aired by other key opinion leaders, including Dr. Amaryle Yazon –President of Fetus as a Patient-Philippines. They said the InnoGen show window was a very good concept.

The production managers and staff of Solvang Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Vamsler Philippines, Inc., took the positive comments as a “shot in the arm” which motivated them to render fine service to the visiting physicians.

The InnoGen hospitality suite turned out to be a sort of favorite hangout of the lady doctors where they were treated to body massage by trained attendants, not to mention giveaways like lotion and facial products.

InnoGen also distributed other samples of medicines produced by Vamsler and Solvang , two pharmaceutical companies under the wing of InnoGen Pharma Group.

The officers of the Capital City Wide group also held their meeting in the InnoGen hospitality suite the next day of the convention-Saturday. The general impression was-- InnoGen would soon become a name to reckon with in the pharmaceutical industry.

InnoGen is the umbrella company of a group of nine Filipino-owned pharmaceutical firms, with each tasked to market and distribute specific medical specializations from neurology, psychiatry cardio-metabolic to pulmonary and pediatrics.

Innogen has invested in technology transfer and partnership with giant pharmaceutical companies aroad to be able to avail itself of the latest technologies in the industry.

InnoGen is working so hard to become a globally-competitive pharmaceutical company that would be known for technological innovations in the drug manufacturing field.
